Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is finally looking primed to kick on at the club.

After two unproductive years, N’Koudou is showing flashes of brilliance on pre-season, scoring goals in consecutive games against Barcelona and AC Milan.

N’Koudou has barely had a chance for Spurs over the last two years, but when he did feature, he did not do a lot to justify more opportunities.

A poor loan spell at Burnley last season did not help, and left N’Koudou in the last chance saloon this summer.

Now Tottenham are left hoping finally, they have struck gold, and unlocked N’Koudou’s potential.

Still only 23-years-old, N’Koudou is showing signs of the player who Spurs spent £10.9 million to sign.

At Marseille he scored 10 goals in 2015/16 before Tottenham snapped him up, but this dynamic player has been invisible in North London.

If it was an issue of confidence for him, N’Koudou will finally feel he belongs after scoring against two of the biggest name teams in world football.

Spurs continue to be linked with signing Wilfried Zaha, which would damage N’Koudou’s chances of playing time.

Yet perhaps he has finally done enough to win Mauricio Pochettino over, and can play with belief at Tottenham, making their investment in him finally look smart business.

It could be a false dawn, but N’Koudou will never get a better chance to succeed at Spurs than the one he has right now.
