Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers signed the young defender last week.

If rumours are believed, Rangers are going back for Martin Skrtel…….again.
The Gers were heavily linked with the Slovakia international last summer and in January but, according to The Record, Steven Gerrard is going for a third attempt.
The Rangers manager played alongside Skrtel at Liverpool and the veteran centre-back is now a free agent after his contract with Fenerbahce expired.
If he does wind up at Ibrox, it would give Gerrard, who already has Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson and George Edmundson, incredible strength-in-depth as far as central defensive options go.
But only two centre-backs can play and it could be really bad news for Edmundson if the Scottish giants bring in the 34-year-old.
Edmundson only signed for Rangers last week and even without Skrtel there were question marks over whether he was going to play regularly, after Goldson and Katic enjoyed a brilliant end to last season.
But the 21-year-old could be the Blues’ fourth-choice option for a central defender if Gerrard brings in his former team-mate.
The type of money that Skrtel would be on, he wouldn’t be signed as a squad player; he’d be signed as a first-team regular to partner one of Goldson or Katic, not Edmundson and therefore the young stalwart might be hoping that the Liverpool legend doesn’t turn up in Glasgow this summer.
