Leeds defender is more than capable of solving their left-back problem.

Left-back is currently Leeds United’s biggest dilemma following season ending injuries to Barry Douglas and Ezgjan Alioski.
It even led to former star Danny Mills suggesting Marcelo Bielsa changes formation to deal with the problem, via Off The Ball.
Amid the worrying, Gaetano Berardi can provide the solution for the Leeds defence.
Berardi has spent much of his season on the sidelines with injury, and when he has played, it’s bee as a central defender.
Fortunately for Leeds his versatility is one of his greatest assets, with Berardi playing for long stints at both full-back positions.
The Swiss star once created a selection dilemma with now Premier League star Charlie Taylor, excelling at left-back.

Leeds have the numbers in defence to accommodate Berardi at left-back, playing Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper in central defence.
The Whites can even bring in Aapo Halme over the next couple of games and rest either Jansson or Cooper.
Marcelo Bielsa may prefer to use Berardi at centre-back in these games, but when it comes to the play-offs, if the cult hero is played at left-back, he is unlikely to let Leeds down.
