Woodman is struggling on loan from Newcastle at Aberdeen.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman is surely staring a summer exit in the face as his dire loan spell at Aberdeen continues to stunt his development.
The 21-year-old has been dropped to the bench by Dons manager Derek McInnes of late, following the return of goalkeeper Joe Lewis. It has seen Woodman remain on the sidelines for the last five league games.
With the Toon likely to sign Martin Dubravka on a permanent basis, as well as boasting Rob Elliot, Karl Darlow and Matz Sels, Woodman’s future at St. James’ Park is in doubt with the England Under-20 World Cup champion looking for first-team game time.

But what could prove to be another nail in the coffin for Woodman is Newcastle’s reported interest in Hajduk Split goalkeeper Karlo Letica.
The Sun claim the Toon are winning the race to land £8million stopper Letica ahead of Manchester United and Real Madrid, who at 21 years of age is surpassing expectation with his current side.
Signing Letica would not only push Woodman down the pecking order even further, but it would give Benitez a new, young goalkeeper to try and mould into a Premier League stopper. Previously, that was Woodman.

Woodman still has a contract at Newcastle until the summer of 2020, but his future on Tyneside has now plunged into fresh new doubt if the reported interest in Letica is believed.
For the good of his career, Newcastle should offload Woodman this summer in order to allow him to continue his development.
