Tottenham Hotspur’s decision to loan out Shayon Harrison has created space in the under-23 squad, and a new opportunity for young talent Shilow Tracey.
Tracey was signed by Spurs last year from non-league Ebbsfleet United, and has risen up the ranks, quickly moving on from the under-18s.

The 18-year-old has lined up for the under-23s during the past two matches as a centre-forward, netting in the 3-1 victory against Southampton a week ago.
He was again a starter up front in the weekend’s narrow 3-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Previous to this he has been deployed in central midfield and on the wing, and has a record of four goals in 14 matches for the under-23s this season.

It is intriguing that he has been preferred to play up front rather than promoting Kazaiah Sterling, who has five goals in three FA Youth Cup games for the under-18s this season and has risen through the ranks as a striker.
