Ademola Lookman hasn’t started a Premier League game for Everton this season.

Marco Silva has told The Liverpool Echo that Everton winger Ademola Lookman is ‘doing more than enough’ to make his first XI for a Premier League game.
The former Charlton Athletic starlet, signed by ex-Toffees boss Ronald Koeman two years ago, hasn’t yet started a league match for Everton this season.
But it seems only a matter of time before Silva rewards his excellent form, with Lookman posting another brilliant cameo in the win over Cardiff City last week.
The Goodison Park side Merseyside rivals Liverpool on Sunday, and the Portuguese manager has admitted that his often-snubbed star is doing a ‘fantastic job’ in training.
“He’s doing more than enough to play in our starting XI and when I take that decision, it is well deserved,” he told The Liverpool Echo. “He’s doing a fantastic job every day here at Finch Farm and afterwards it reflects on the matches as well.
“I know what he wants, that his desire is to play more minutes and start matches as well. His time will come, I don’t have doubts about that. This is the Lookman I told you all about from my first moment, this was my expectation about his quality and his talent.”

Everton fans have been calling for Lookman to start for weeks now and could Silva’s comments indicate that he’s finally ready to throw him into a first XI?
It certainly seems plausible. If the former Watford boss didn’t feel as if he was ready for first-team action then he probably would’ve said, but Silva is a manager who doesn’t mince words or say things for effect.
He’s a straight-to-the-point coach and one who might just reward Lookman this weekend.
