Is Eunan O’Kane at risk of being sold by Leeds United this summer?

Leeds United’s Eunan O’Kane hasn’t exactly had a brilliant start to 2018.
The Northern Irish midfielder was sent off at Ipswich Town in January and, on the whole, his performances in the second half of the campaign have been so far a huge disappointment in comparison to what he produced from August until around November.
And with Leeds brimming with a host of central midfielders, is it possible that Paul Heckingbottom and Director of Football Victor Orta could look to offload him this summer unless he improves in a big way?

Adam Forshaw joined United in a £4.5 million deal in January and the former Middlesbrough man has added to the competition for places in midfield, with Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira also in the frame.
But at the moment, O’Kane, the eldest of all four, is looking like the man most at risk of being sold this summer and you wonder whether his future at Elland Road hinges on having a superb end to the season.

Phillips, 22, and 19-year-old Vieira are exciting Thorp Arch prospects – especially the latter – and Forshaw has shown glimpses of what he can bring to the table so far.
O’Kane, who turns 28 in July, has the quality to be a big player for the Whites, as proven during the first half of the campaign under Thomas Christiansen, but for now the Republic of Ireland international has a lot of critics to silence and failing to do so could and probably will result in his axing.
