Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that their club was the most active side in the pursuit of Torino defender Gleison Bremer.
The defender has been linked with a move away from Torino for some time now. Fulham were reportedly in for him last summer, while Manchester United have also been linked in recent times.
However, it is now being claimed that Liverpool are the team most keen on signing the Brazilian, but the fans seemingly aren’t so keen on this potential move.
Indeed, the fanbase seem to believe that the Reds don’t need to sign another defender, and to be honest, we’re inclined to agree.
Liverpool already have four quality centre-halves in Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip so Bremer’s arrival would undoubtedly be a bit overkill.
Some Reds supporters simply couldn’t get their heads around why the club were being linked with another player in this position, while some were quick to write off this rumour.
