Is Demba Ba a good option for West Bromwich Albion if and when Alan Pardew is appointed?

West Brom have been without a manager for a week following the decision to sack Tony Pulis last Monday. Pardew admitted his interest in the position over the weekend and it certainly seems as if it could happen.
If it does, should the 56-year-old try bringing Demba Ba to the West Midlands?

According to Turkish publication Haberturk, Besiktas are considering re-signing the Shanghai Shenua hitman in January if Cenk Tosun leaves.
The 32-year-old, who has 14 goals in 18 games for the Chinese side this season according to ESPN, is out of contract in the summer and you wonder whether he would be attracted to working with Pardew again.

The Senegalese marksman scored 29 goals in 51 games under Pardew at Newcastle – a very decent return and West Brom could certainly use the goals.
No West Brom player has scored more than two Premier League goals in their first 13 games, and the Baggies, one point above the drop zone, are going to need a prolific figure in January if they are to survive.
