The Tottenham star has struggled since returning from international duty.

Christian Eriksen was elated earlier this month when he hit a hat-trick against the Republic of Ireland to help Denmark secure their place at next summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.
The expectation amongst Tottenham Hotspur supporters was that Eriksen, who can thrive as a winger or an attacking midfielder, would bring his difference-making international form onto the club stage.
However, such a scenario hasn’t transpired and the 25-year-old produced a disappointing performance in the 2-1 defeat to Leicester City last night.
Despite the quality that he possesses, Eriksen was unable to make a significant impact against a well-organised Leicester side and was substituted in the second half, with his replacement, Erik Lamela, proceeding to produce an assist for Harry Kane.

Eriksen was also unable to thrive in the defeat to Arsenal and the draw with West Bromwich Albion, and it appears that he is still attempting to recapture his best form for Tottenham after making such a significant impact for Denmark.
Tottenham will hope that Eriksen will soon be back to his best and influencing matches with his precise passes and direct dribbling.

Eriksen has gone six Premier League games without scoring and hasn’t provided an assist in the top flight since the defeat to Chelsea in August.
Perhaps a brief spell out of the side would benefit Eriksen as it would enable him to fully recover from the emotional impact of his exploits with Denmark.
The hope will certainly be that Eriksen’s displays for Tottenham will soon be of a similar standard to what he produced for Denmark against Ireland.
