West Ham United should attempt to sign the Barcelona forward.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has begun his tenure at the London Stadium in earnest, bringing in a whole host of exciting new signings this summer.
One area where the Chilean is still yet to strengthen, however, is his centre-forward department, and with this in mind, he should consider bringing Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer to east London.
The 24-year-old could be available for around £27 million this summer, according to Spanish publication Sport, and in today’s market, that represents decent value for someone with the Spaniard’s quality.
Alcacer joined Barca from Valencia in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £25.5 million, according to BBC Sport, but he has struggled for game-time, playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
The 13-capped Spain international still has a lot to offer at the very highest level, and he could prove to be an inspired signing for West Ham, should Pellegrini bring him to the London Stadium.

He is a poacher, and possesses excellent movement in and around the 18-yard box.
With the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko providing the chances, he could really flourish with the Hammers, and £27 million could be a small price to pay to find out if the Spaniard has what it takes to be a success in the Premier League.
