Leeds United appear to be having a clear out of some of their top talent this summer.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Millwall and Leeds United at The Den on September 16, 2017 in London, England.

Leeds United may be in danger of selling their players off far too cheaply this summer, just like Massimo Cellino did when he was in charge.

Leeds’ decision to offload Lewis Cook for an initial fee of just £6 million (the Guardian) in 2016 looks like a terrible move now, given the way the central midfielder has developed at Bournemouth.

Cook has stood out in the Premier League and gone on to earn a cap for England, with his value sky rocketing since his departure from Elland Road.

However, there has to be question marks over whether Andrea Radrizzani has learnt from the errors of his predecessor.

Leeds are considering offloading a number of their top talents this summer, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side seemingly making big changes.

Already there are concerns over whether Leeds are getting value for money for their players though.

Jack Clarke has already left Leeds for Tottenham Hotspur for just £8.5 million (Sky Sports), which looks very cheap.

Clarke is only 18, and has already shown glimpses of great potential at Championship level, which suggest that he could be worth a lot more than that amount in the future.

Leeds are also seemingly set to offload Pontus Jansson to Brentford for just £5.5 million (Daily Mirror).

Jansson has been one of the stand out players in the Championship over the past few seasons, but Leeds are letting him go for a relatively low price.

The likes of Tyrone Mings and Adam Webster are both considered to be worth more than £20 million, while Lloyd Kelly left Bristol City for considerably more than Leeds are charging for Jansson earlier this summer.

Leeds could also sell Kemar Roofe for just £5 million (The Scottish Sun) to Rangers, after he scored 15 goals for them last term.

Roofe scored as many goals as Bradley Dack and more than Britt Assombalonga, who would both cost considerably more than £5 million if they were to be sold this summer.

And Radrizzani should start asking for more money for Leeds’ players, as in the current market they can demand higher prices.
