Aston Villa are second behind leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship table at the moment.

Villa are second in the league table at the moment with 59 points from 31 matches, while Wolves are currently at the top of the league standings with 71 points from 31 games.

Adomah, who has scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 24 Championship starts for the Villans so far this season, has suggested that Steve Bruce’s side can catch Wolves.
“We are still quite a distance from Wolves but anything is possible,” Adomah told The Express & Star. “Our aim is to catch them.”

Is catching Wolves possible?
Villa are in great form at the moment and have won their last seven Championship matches.
Given the momentum that the Villans currently have, fans will expect the team to at least push Wolves for the top spot in the final weeks of the season, but perhaps it would be better if Steve Bruce’s side aim for the second and final automatic promotion place.
The Wanderers have the best squad in the Championship and have been the best team, and it is hard to see Villa challenging them for the title this season.
What is important for Villa now is to increase the gap between themselves and the rest of the chasing pack.
