Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin may have jumped ahead of Ademola Lookman in the pecking order for places in Marco Silva’s side.

Ademola Lookman may have fallen even further down the pecking order at Everton, after Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s recent excellent form.
Calvert-Lewin has hit three goals in his last two appearances, and his last start against Huddersfield came in the left-wing slot.
Lookman’s most natural position is down the left-hand side, and he could now face even more of a fight for a place in Marco Silva’s team.
Lookman impressed out on loan with Red Bull Leipzig and is known to want more first-team football.

But quite where the £11 million signing (BBC Sport) fits in at Everton right now is unclear.
Theo Walcott and Richarlison appear to be Everton’s first choices down the wing, and with Calvert-Lewin in fine form, he may have leapfrogged Lookman in the race for places.
Calvert-Lewin looks likely to be first reserve at Everton right now, and it could be that Lookman’s patience is tested further, as he awaits first-team opportunities at Goodison Park.
