HITC Sports understands Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles has completed his season-long loan switch to Ipswich Town.
HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Ipswich Town will confirm the loan signing of Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles on Thursday morning.
Maitland-Niles is regarded as one of the best young prospects to emerge from Arsenal’s youth system in recent years.
Gunners boss Wenger is a big fan of Maitland-Niles and feels he would be best served to go out on loan next season to aid his development by getting regular first-team action.
The 17-year-old broke into the first-team last season making his debut in the Champions League win at Galatasaray and making three appearances in total.
A number of clubs had expressed an interest in signing the England youth international, but Ipswich have moved quickly to agree a deal to take him to Portman Road on a season-long deal.
Maitland-Niles will become the fourth new face to move to Ipswich this summer following the arrivals of Ryan Fraser and Brett Pitman on loan and permanently respectively from Bournemouth and Josh Yorwerth from Cardiff City.
