Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has said that he does not think that he will be sacked despite the defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, as quoted by The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth on Twitter.

Marsch has said that everyone at the club are confident that Leeds will be able to stay in the Premier League League for next season.

The American boss made the comments after Leeds suffered a defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest today.

The West Yorkshire club went down 1-0 to Forest at the City Ground this afternoon.

Leeds are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 20 matches.

The Whites are now level on points with third-from-bottom Everton, who have played 21 games.

During the match against Forest, some Leeds fans were calling for Marsch to leave.

Results and performances have been disappointing in recent weeks, and there is a real danger that Leeds could go down to the Championship at the end of the season.

But Marsch is staying put.
