Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after spotting one of the club’s transfer targets in Marc Guehi’s announcement video.
What’s the story?
Well, the south Londoners announced the centre-back’s arrival from Chelsea on Sunday, in a deal that could be worth £20m.
Crystal Palace – currently training at St George’s Park – decided to take advantage of their environment to announce Guehi’s arrival.
At St George’s Park, the Eagles found where the FA keep the England Under-17 World Cup, which was won in 2017.
Guehi was part of that team, and was announced smartly by Crystal Palace as cameras zoomed out to reveal the 21-year-old admiring the trophy.
Who was spotted?

Interestingly, a number of eagle-eyed Crystal Palace fans noticed another transfer target in the video – Conor Gallagher.
The Athletic believe Crystal Palace have shown persistent interest in the Chelsea prospect, who is said to be good friends with Guehi.
In Guehi’s announcement video, Gallagher – also a part of that England Under-17 World Cup winning group – can be seen in the footage.

It may just be a coincidence, in all honesty.
However, it’s certainly an interesting discovery.
Let’s see what the Crystal Palace fans on Twitter have been saying about it…
