Swindon Town coach Tommy Wright has said that interest is building in Leeds United midfielder Robbie Gotts to the Swindon Advertiser.
Leeds seem to be prepared to loan out Gotts to a lower league side, and Swindon are just one of the teams interested in signing the youngster.
The 20-year-old has also been linked with Sunderland recently, with a battle now on for his signature.
And Wright confirmed Swindon’s interest yesterday, as well as numerous other clubs’.
“I’ve watched Robbie quite a lot for Leeds – I know Leeds well having been there as a player,” Wright said.
“He’s a good young player. You can see me smiling as I say that. I’m not saying it’s definite, but there is a bit of interest there from our point of view.
“But I think there is quite a bit of interest from plenty of other clubs too in Robbie.”
It should come as no surprise that Gotts has attracted a lot of attention now he is available at Leeds.

The youngster was rewarded with two senior appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side last season, and has looked one of their stand out performers at development squad level.
Gotts, who was described as ‘very valuable’ by Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds Live), is blessed with great energy and tenacity, and will surely thrive at League One level.
With Sunderland keen, Wright’s newly promoted Swindon side will be hard pushed to win the race for the Leeds midfielder, but Bielsa may feel that his prospect’s starting chances will be increased if he does pick a move to the County Ground.
