Brighton and Hove Albion are set to revive their interest in Cameroon international striker Karl Toto Ekambi in the summer.

Brighton were desperate to add some firepower to their squad in the January transfer window, as they looked to move away from the relegation zone.
Chris Hughton failed with an approach to sign Ekambi on deadline day in the summer, before the Sussex club inevitably returned to Angers with another bid in January, The Mail reported.

The 25-year-old forward has impressed with 14 goals in 27 games this campaign and it is almost inevitable that he makes the jump to a bigger club or league in the near future.
With Brighton forking out a club-record fee for Jurgen Locadia in January, getting Leonardo Ulloa back on the books and Glenn Murray firing in goals consistently, it is hard to imagine Tomer Hemed has much of a future with the Seagulls, especially if they make another move for Ekambi in the summer.
The 30-year-old only signed a new contract in November, however he has yet to feature in the Premier League since their 4-0 loss to Chelsea in January.

Hemed scored 13 goals en route to Championship promotion last term before adding two crucial strikes in his maiden Premier League season.
Possessing a record of 30 second tier goals in 73 matches, the Israeli international will undoubtedly be a source of interest for a handful of Championship teams.
With Brighton already planning ahead to consolidate their Premier League status next season, Hemed must be weighing up his options.
