Inter Milan should cash in on Milan Skriniar for £20 million this month amid interest from Premier League giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, former Serie A champion Graziano Bini tells Tuttomercatoweb

With his contract expiring in just five months’ time, Inter Milan have precisely one week remaining if they want to make any sort of cash on a player who won the Scudetto under Antonio Conte in 2020/21.

According to reporter Rudy Galetti, a reunion with Conte is on the cards at Tottenham. Spurs secured a hard-earned clean sheet away at Fulham on Monday night but Eric Dier and Ben Davies remain undoubtedly ‘upgrade-able’.

Clement Lenglet, meanwhile, will return to Barcelona when his loan deal expires.

Inter Live believe that Liverpool are also weighing up a move for the Slovakia international following Virgil van Dijk’s latest injury blow. Skriniar, capped over 50 times by his country, was outstanding against Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Champions League last season.

Liverpool and Tottenham are watching Milan Skriniar’s situation at Inter

Skriniar’s agent, Roberto Sistici, admits that talks with Paris Saint-Germain and other ‘non-Italian clubs’ are underway. There is currently no chance, Sistici adds, of his client signing a new deal at San Siro (Telenord).

A dilemma for Inter, then. Do they cash in now, while they still can? Or accept losing Skriniar for free, in the hope that he can help chase down runaway leaders Napoli before departing in July.

“I never believed that he would renew his contract,” says Bini, a Serie A winner in 1980. “There is no competing with such an offer from Paris Saint-Germain. I understand it.

“If you can get 20 million now, Inter must hurry up and find a replacement. Skriniar is very good but he is not Pele. You can replace them with another one. If I could take the money from this sale I would sell it immediately.

“I think Inter did their best to keep him.”

Skriniar is a long-time target for Tottenham; Jose Mourinho making the former Sampdoria stopper his number one target all the way back in 2020. Spurs failed with a £30 million bid at the time, however. Inter wanted almost twice as much.

Tottenham had been linked with Jakub Kiwior. But the Poland international was unveiled by North London neighbours Arsenal on Monday.
