Inter reportedly face an uphill battle if they are to successfully complete the signature of Manchester United’s Nani before the window closes.
Inter have emerged as shock favourites to sign Manchester United winger Nani, but they must act quickly if they are to add him to their ranks in January.
Nani had been linked with Inter’s Serie A rivals Juventus for weeks, but the Nerazzurri have suddenly entered the race for his services and snatched pole position.
Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio announced yesterday that Inter have entered talks with Manchester United and are pushing hard for an agreement.
Inter’s transfer activity had been minimal this winter but they have now burst into life as they are currently also completing a deal for Lazio midfielder Hernanes.
Nani is said to be happy to leave Old Trafford for San Siro having fallen out of favour and with his relationship with manager David Moyes said to be poor.
However, according to Sky Sport, the Portuguese international isn’t willing to try and force United into letting him go.
