Aston Villa reportedly want to sign Daniel Sturridge this summer.

It has been reported that Italian giants Inter had been on the hunt for Sturridge for a few years, but the Nerazzurri are not interested in the England international striker anymore.
The report has claimed that the 29-year-old was offered to Inter this summer, but Antonio Conte’s side – who will play in the Champions League next season – have turned it down.
Blow for Aston Villa?
Earlier this month, The Sun credited Aston Villa with interest in Sturridge. It was reported that the Villans were hoping to come up with a package that will be tempting for the former Chelsea and Manchester City striker.
However, the latest report on Alfredopedulla.com suggests that the striker has lofty ambitions in regard to his next club and may not be willing to move to Villa.

True, Villa have made some very good signings in the summer transfer window and they are a massive club, but like most newly-promoted teams, they could end up fighting for survival in the Premier League next season.
As for Inter, having finished in the top four of Serie A last season and with Conte in charge, the Nerazzurri are a club on the up.
