Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to offload Mousa Dembele, in what looks to be a risky move by Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Inter had been struggling to raise the cash required to sign Dembele, but are now said to be in a position to make a bid for the Belgian.
Tottenham will reportedly consider offers of around £20 million for Dembele, and his departure has to be a worry for supporters of the north London side.

Put simply, there is not a player on the market at £20 million who could replace Dembele to a similar standard.
Pochettino may have his reasons for offloading Dembele this summer, namely his unreliable fitness levels, but finding a replacement of the same quality is going to be hugely tough without paying fortunes.
As if Tottenham fans needed any reminder, they had another glimpse of how influential Dembele can be, after the 31-year-old put in a standout showing for Belgium against England at the World Cup.

And Tottenham supporters should be concerned, as Dembele edges closer to the exit door.
Pochettino, of course, will have a plan in place to cover for Dembele’s departure.
But it is a decision which could come back to haunt them, unless Spurs buy very intelligently in the coming weeks.
