Inter Miami are reportedly interested in signing Racing teenager Tomas Aviles, with the MLS franchise now looking to recruit young talent to the squad.

According to TyC Sports, the 19-year-old centre-back is a target for Inter Miami as the Florida-based club begin a new phase in their summer recruitment that will focus on signing younger players, with Aviles now believed to be a target.

Praised in the report as an ‘outstanding’ talent, Aviles was part of Argentina’s U-20 FIFA World Cup squad this summer with the Racing defender believed to have a release clause of €15m, a sizeable fee for a club like Inter Miami.

As per TyC Sports, David Beckham’s franchise are keen to make Inter Miami as competitive as possible this summer with the signings of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, with Andres Iniesta and Jordi Alba also being linked with a move to Florida.

Indeed, big-name superstar signings will go a long way in getting Inter Miami to the play-offs, but moves like this for Aviles will go beyond what happens this season in MLS, with these types of transfers key if the Eastern Conference side want to create a self-sustaining environment.
