West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans has recently been linked with Premier League rivals Everton and West Ham United.

With West Brom losing to Swansea at the weekend, it has become even more essential that Alan Pardew’s men end their long wait for a win as quickly as possible to ensure that they keep themselves out of the Premier League relegation zone.
The Baggies have not won since August and now find themselves above the bottom three only on goal difference. Unfortunately for Pardew’s men, they face a mammoth task if they hope to turn their form around in their next game.

West Brom travel to face Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, and Pardew will know that his side will be coming up against one of the most dangerous attacks in the division, and thus, he will need his defence to put in an inspired display if they hope to stand a chance – but that may cause its own problems for the Baggies.
What will have worried Baggies supporters even more was Pardew then suggesting to Sky Sports ahead of the game against Swansea that he did fear the prospect of losing the Northern Irishman to one of their rivals.

Given Liverpool’s quality going forward, it would hardly be a surprise if the likes of Everton and West Ham were watching Wednesday’s game intently as he will undoubtedly need to impress if the Baggies are going to take a surprise result back with them.
So while an inspired performance from Evans may perhaps help West Brom restore some of the confidence that was lost at the weekend, it may do Pardew no favours come the January window.
