Bournemouth could be facing a difficult battle to keep hold of Marcos Senesi as interest in the defender grows across Europe.
The Argentine centre-back has become a key player for the Cherries since arriving from Feyenoord, impressing with his composure on the ball and reliability in defence.
However, with Senesi’s contract approaching its final stages, reports now suggest his future may lie away from the Vitality Stadium.
Matteo Moretto says Marcos Senesi staying at Bournemouth is ‘out of the question’

Italian journalist Matteo Moretto has indicated that Senesi is very unlikely to remain at Bournemouth.
Responding to a fan on X, Moretto gave a brief but clear answer regarding that topic.
“Is it completely out of the question for him to stay, Matteo?” the fan questioned.
“Yes,” the journalist replied.
The update suggests Bournemouth may already be preparing for the possibility of losing one of their most important defenders as the situation around Senesi’s contract reaches a decisive stage.
Barcelona and Tottenham among clubs tracking Marcos Senesi
Moretto also revealed that a number of clubs across Europe are monitoring the Argentine’s situation.
Writing on X, he explained: “The future of Marcos Senesi, whose contract is about to expire, is entering its decisive phase.
“Many clubs are interested in him: further contact is expected with Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, and Aston Villa.
“Barcelona are also in the mix, considering him a good low-cost option.”
Senesi has a real shot of making part of the Argentina 2026 World Cup squad. Should it be confirmed, he could attract even more interest after the tournament.
