Former Reading midfielder John Salako has taken to social networking site Twitter to praise Leeds United fans.

Salako was impressed with the number of supporters Leeds had for the Championship game against Reading away from home at the Madejski Stadium.

Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and have a strong following. Despite having not featured in the Premier League since 2004, the Whites regularly attract over 20,000 fans at Elland Road.

The West Yorkshire outfit are going strong in the Championship at the moment and should end up in the playoffs.

Garry Monk’s side may have lost 1-0 to Reading away from home at the Madejski Stadium, but the fans should remain optimistic about a top-six finish.

The Whites will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Brentford away from home at Griffin Park in the Championship.

Leeds should head into the match against the Bees with confidence, and they should be able to pick up all three points from the encounter.
