Leeds United have confirmed that 19-year-old academy talent Jack Jenkins has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The Yorkshire side announced on their official website that the Leeds-born midfielder has penned a fresh three-year deal with the club running until the summer of 2024.

Jenkins is regarded as one of the many exciting talents coming through at Leeds this season. The teenager is a regular for the club at U-23 level, with the deep-lying midfielder making his senior debut for the Whites last campaign.

Leeds have tied up numerous youngsters to new deals in recent weeks, with Charlie Cresswell and Liam McCarron all putting pen to paper on fresh contracts.

Indeed, Cresswell last weekend made his Premier League debut as the teenager started in defence in Leeds’ 2-1 defeat to Everton. And Jenkins will be looking to make a similar feat this campaign after signing his new contract.

The midfielder is highly rated at Elland Road. And fans on social media are buzzing that Jenkins has committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract with Leeds.
