Liverpool striker determined to remain upbeat.
Liverpool striker Danny Ings has thanked fans for their incredible support after his latest injury blow.
Ings suffered a serious knee injury last October which he was working his way back from, only to be dealt another devastating injury.

The club confirmed via the official website that Ings requires knee surgery after getting injured in last week’s 2-1 EFL Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Ings has been inundated with supportive messages from supporters and teammates, and sent a message to acknowledge the kind words he has received, while also insisting he will continue to fight to get back to where he needs to be.
Ings faces a tough mental challenge as well as a physical one, but having recovered from one serious injury already now, he at least is prepared for what lies ahead.
This time it may be even tougher to get back to Liverpool’s first team, as he will have missed almost two years of action by time he returns, but the club will show him their full support and give him every opportunity to do so.
