The Leeds United Under-23s striker Sam Greenwood could be close to a return to action.
Greenwood has scored five goals in four games since his summer move to Leeds from Arsenal.
But he hasn’t played since the start of October due to an ankle problem.
As revealed on his Instagram account later that month, Greenwood underwent surgery to rectify the issue.
And he posted the following update on Sunday, as his teammates strolled to a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Another summer signing, Max Dean, has impressed in Greenwood’s arrival and scored his second goal in three U23s appearances, against Palace.
Dean, who had been on Everton’s books, has also found the net twice in as many games in this season’s EFL Trophy.
And it will be interesting to see if Greenwood walks straight back into Mark Jackson’s team, when fit.
