Arsenal with some positive injury news and a pretty healthy squad, who would have thought it?
Normally, injuries and continued setbacks for players are Arsenal’s kryptonite, but with the news that Emile Smith Rowe is back in training, that’s certainly not the case now.
Arteta confirmed ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Olympiacos tonight, and that North London derby, that Smith Rowe has had a ‘full session’ of training on Wednesday, as he told Football London.
They will then decide whether or not to include him for the first leg showdown in Greece tonight.
Either way, Smith Rowe is back to boost Arsenal’s forward line ahead of a crucial week for the club.
Arsenal fans are delighted that their academy product is back on the pitch once again, but they have warned to be patient with him.
Some supporters have even suggested resting him completely for the Europa League tie and then starting him for the Tottenham clash.
One thing is for sure, Arteta has a strong set of players to choose from during a very crucial period for all involved with the club.
Arsenal cannot afford to come out of this week, out of Europe and a defeat against Spurs because that would seriously set this team back.
Nonetheless, Arsenal supporters are delighted at what they are hearing from the Emirates:
