IndyCar Bommarito Automotive Group 500: Event information, where to watch, and starting lineup

The IndyCar Series returns to World Wide Technology Raceway this Sunday for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500.

The race marks Round 9 of the 2026 season and comes just a week after Alex Palou’s win on the streets of Detroit.

Palou will start on pole position, with David Malukas and defending race winner Kyle Kirkwood lining up behind him.

Event information

The Bommarito Automotive Group 500 takes place on Sunday, June 7, at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois.

The race covers 260 laps of the 1.25-mile oval. The green flag is set for 9:25 p.m. ET and 8:25 p.m. CT local time.

This is the third oval event of the season. Palou comes into the weekend leading the championship, while Kirkwood returns as the defending winner at this track.

Where to watch

Coverage begins with the pre-race show at 9:00 p.m. ET on FOX. That is 8:00 p.m. CT for viewers in the St. Louis area.

The race itself gets underway at 9:25 p.m. ET and 8:25 p.m. CT. FOX will broadcast the race in the United States, while TSN has coverage for viewers in Canada.

Streaming options include FOX ONE, with in-car camera feeds available through HBO Max. IndyCar Radio will also provide live audio coverage.
