The Albanian President was impressed as Neil Lennon’s men got back to winning ways

Celtic have attracted their fair share of criticism this season, with fans, pundits and former players all lining up to have their say.
Positive comments have been hard to come by, but Tuesday night’s 4-0 win over Kilmarnock brought a rare bit of respite for the beleaguered club.
After their season plummeted to a new low with Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat against St Mirren, Neil Lennon’s men rebounded with a convincing victory in Ayrshire.
Of particular note were goals from Scott Brown and Albian Ajeti, with the captain scoring his first goal in a year on his return to the side and Ajeti netting for the first time since September.

They were the two players singled out by Ilir Meta, who when not tweeting about the Scottish Premiership finds time to command the Albanian military.
The Albanian President has been posting tweets about Celtic for some time, his interest seemingly having been sparked by a connection with former Celtic defender and Albania international Rudi Vata.
In the aftermath of Celtic’s convincing victory, the leader of Albania’s Socialist Movement for Integration tweeted: “BIG WIN AWAY!
“Happy and enjoying the deserved victory! Indescribable emotions! Congratulations!
“I greet you all with this wonderful goal scored tonight by our Captain, Leader and Legend @ScottBrown8. Come on bhoys in green! Hail Hail.”
The man responsible for relieving military commanders of duty added: “A special appreciation for the constant performance of Albian Ajeti, who today sealed our deserved victory.
“#CelticFC has an added value that makes us all proud. Congratulations Ajeti for the goal scored today! Hail Hail.”
Celtic’s second and third goals were scored by Odsonne Edouard.
Meta, who last summer filmed himself running around a beach in a Celtic top shouting “Hail Hail”, became President of Albania in July 2017.
