Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Mohamed Salah on the club’s official website.

Klopp has been impressed with how Salah has played for Liverpool so far this season and has been amazed by his sharpness in front of goal.

The 28-year-old Egypt international forward has scored five goals in four Premier League games for the Merseyside outfit, according to WhoScored.

When asked how pleased he has been with Salah’s start to the campaign, Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “Very with the overall performance.

“OK, he scored twice against Aston Villa and they are nice in the list. But, of course, he would like to score in the other games when we win or help the team to win, I know that.

“But yes, his overall performance was really good so far. It looks like the complete performance – so, involved in the game, being a proper option for us for passing and still staying the incredibly sharp finisher. Good season so far, for sure.”

Big player for Liverpool

Salah is one of the best attacking players in the world and has been a big reason behind Liverpool’s success in recent years.

The former Chelsea man scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League last season, according to WhoScored, as the Reds won the title.

During the 2018-19 campaign, Salah scored five goals and provided two assists in the Champions League, according to WhoScored, as Liverpool became the champions of Europe.

For the Merseyside club to win the Premier League title again and to make an impact in the Champions League, Salah will have to be on top of his game throughout.

Liverpool will return to action this afternoon when they take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby.
