Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Lucas Moura following his display in the Europa League win over Ludogorets.

The Brazil international started Spurs’ 3-1 win over the Bulgarian outfit on Thursday, and delivered a fine performance.

Lucas scored a goal following lovely build-up play involving Gareth Bale and Harry Kane, while he also grabbed an assist on what was a fine night for the former Paris Saint-Germain attacker.

SofaScore shows that the ex-Sau Paulo forward registered two key passes to go with his goal and assist, and also created one big chance.

Additionally, Lucas completed all four of his attempted dribbles, and showed his tenacity by winning nine of his attempted ten ground duels.

The 28-year-old also won four successful tackles.

Lucas did, however, lose possession on 16 occasions. Having said that, attacking players like the Brazilian tend to do so when they put the ball at risk as often as he does by dribbling with it.

The man who cost Tottenham £23 million now has four goals and two assists in 13 appearances for the north Londoners this season.
