
Tottenham Hotspur talent Oliver Skipp is going from strength to strength.
Spurs loaned the 20-year-old midfielder – who has 15 Premier League appearances under his belt – to Norwich City in the Championship this past summer and he produced another fine performance on Saturday.
The Canaries beat Swansea City 1-0 at Carrow Road to move third in the table.
Daniel Farke’s side are outside the automatic promotion places on goals scored, having netted one less than second-placed Watford so far.
And the Tottenham gem, being a defensive midfielder, hasn’t contributed much by way of scoring, but he has shielded the back four expertly and did so again against the Swans yesterday – only two sides in the Championship have conceded less than Norwich.
Skipp, who has been tipped by Spurs boss Jose Mourinho to captain the North Londoners one day, managed three interceptions yesterday – more than any other player on the field – and fans of the Carrow Road club look truly delighted with their pre-season recruit.
