Some Liverpool fans on social media have been drooling over Harvey Davies after his performance in the UEFA Youth League.
Liverpool’s U19s grabbed a narrow win against AC Milan’s youth side on Wednesday afternoon, but on another day, the Italian outfit could have ran out as victors.
Indeed, Milan crafted a number of incredible chances, peppering Davies’ goal, but the goalkeeper stood firm and proved to be unbeatable on the day.
Davies looks like a very good goalkeeper in the making, and Reds supporters on social media were quick to praise him for his showing against Milan.
Liverpool have struggled to settle on a second-choice goalkeeper in recent years with Adrian, Andy Lonergan and Caoimhin Kellher all having stints as Alisson Becker’s number two in recent years.
However, if Davies continues to develop, it may not be long until he gets a chance as the Brazilian’s understudy, and some fans are already claiming that he’s better than Adrian.
