Reported Liverpool target Isak Bergmann Johannesson will leave the Allsvenskan for a record-breaking transfer fee, Norrkoping team-mate Jonathan Levi tells Aftonbladet.
As it stands, Alexander Isak is the most expensive player to leave Sweden’s top flight behind.
But with some of the biggest clubs in Europe sending scouts to watch teen sensation Johannesson in action, Real Sociedad’s so-called ‘new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ could see his place in the history books come under threat in the very near future.
According to Expressen, Premier League champions Liverpool watched Johannesson in action during Monday’s 2-2 draw with AIK.
Manchester United, Juventus and more are also keeping tabs on the Swede’s rapid rise, according to Norrkoping scout Stig Torbjornsen.
And Levi believes it is only a matter of time before his highly-rated teenager is setting a new transfer record.
“We probably smell a new sales record, and I get so happy when I think about it,” Levi says.

“It’s football around the clock for him. I think I am an ambitious player but I have got a new idol in Isak. I follow him every day and he inspires me. Together we combine nicely with each other on the pitch. We have two superstars, he and (former West Ham youngster) Sead (Haksabanovic).
“He should be a new record (sale). I hope and believe it. It is entirely reasonable that Isak cracks the 100 million mark, that he is sold for more than SEK 100 million.
“He is such an incredible player and personality.”
For all those asking, 100 million Swedish Krone translates to around £9 million British pounds.
A not inconsiderable sum for a teenager, even if Johannesson has marked his breakthrough season with 14 goals and assists in 26 games.
