‘Incredible’ player now wants to leave amid Arsenal and Chelsea interest

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea have reportedly received a boost in their quest to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The Sun reported in late September that Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all are monitoring the situation of Osimhen at Napoli.

The 24-year-old Nigeria international striker was recently involved in a row with his club Napoli over TikTok videos.

The Mirror has reported that Chelsea are keen on the striker and are monitoring his situation.

The report has added that the former Lille star is “looking for a way out of Napoli”.

In my view, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would be a massive signing for Arsenal or Chelsea.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world.

He was described as “incredible” by former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli on Instagram in May 2023.

I think that the Nigeria international would make Arsenal or Chelsea better and more potent in attack.

The striker is only 24, and he can only get better.

Having said all that, I should also note that it is very unlikely that Napoli will sell Osimhen in the middle of the season.

Napoli won Serie A last season and are aiming to win it again this campaign.

The Naples outfit are also playing in the UEFA Champions League.

Osimhen has scored five goals in six Serie A starts for Napoli so far this season.

The striker scored 26 goals and gave four assists in 30 league starts for the Naples club last season.
