Speaking to BT Sport, Jordan Henderson has been full of praise for Alisson Becker.
The Brazilian has been absolutely exceptional ever since joining the Reds. He’s won a Premier League and a Champions League for the Merseyside club and he’s arguably one of the most consistent performers in the Premier League.
Henderson has been waxing-lyrical about the Reds’ number one, claiming that he’s one of the best signings the club have made for a long time.

Henderson was full of praise for Alisson.
“He’s been massive, I think as a signing it’s one of the best signings the club have done for a long long time for me. He’s incredible, you feel so safe with him behind you, he can pull-off worldies, he’s so comfortable and calm when he’s playing out and he makes a massive difference to the whole team,” Henderson said.
Best signing
Henderson says that Alisson is the best signing Liverpool have made for a long time, and it’s hard to disagree.
Think about it, the Reds were a good goalkeeper away from winning the Champions League in 2018, so what did they do that summer? Signed the best goalkeeper on the planet.
The Reds then, almost inevitably, won their sixth major European honour the very next year, before following that up with their maiden Premier League triumph.
Alisson has been absolutely unbelievable for the Reds, and it’s hard to name a better signing in recent years.
