Speaking to BT Sport, Jordan Henderson has had plenty of good things to say about Fabinho.
The Brazilian is one of the Reds’ most important players, and while he’s an absolutely fantastic for Liverpool, he often doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
However, Henderson has now given him his due, stating that he’s the best player in the world in the number six position.
What’s been said?
Henderson has been waxing-lyrical about Fabinho.
“When you have someone like Fabinho in the team, who, for me, is the best in the world in that position, he’s incredible, he’s a huge player for the way we play. When I play as a number 8 having him behind you, it’s amazing really. It’s an incredible feeling to be able to go off and press and do your thing going forward,” Henderson said.

Best in the world
We have to agree with Henderson here. Fabinho is the best number six on the planet right now.
Yes, the likes of Casemiro, Rodri and even N’Golo Kante are brilliant in that role, but nobody is quite as solid on a weekly basis as Fabinho.
The Brazilian is the lynchpin of this Liverpool team. He allows the Reds to press high while also maintaining a high line, and as the early parts of 2022 showed, he’s not bad going forward either.
Henderson says Fabinho is the best number six in the world, and it’s very hard to disagree with that point of view.
