Harry Redknapp has hailed Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka as ‘fantastic’ and he thinks he can win the 2022 FIFA World Cup with England, as he told TalkTV.
England opened their World Cup account out in Qatar by thrashing Iran 6-2, thanks to a brace from Saka, and Redknapp hailed the quality of players like this as ‘incredible’.
From Arsenal’s Hale-End to football’s biggest stage, it has been some rise for the 21-year-old.

Gareth Southgate was brave to hand him his first start at the World Cup and he didn’t let anyone down, as Redknapp is excited by what he can produce along with his England teammates out in the Middle East.
“When you look at our squad when you look at the players that came off the bench,” said Redknapp. “They are fantastic players.
“I watched the Holland team, they (wouldn’t be able to) live with us. You look at their players. They have two or three fantastic players. After that, they have a lot of average players, who have been to England and never cracked it.
“We have a real opportunity. I think we have some incredible players, especially in the forward areas. Bellingham. What a player at 19. Saka, he looks fantastic.”

SAKA SURGING FORWARD
From that fresh-faced teenager that came through Arsenal’s ranks under Unai Emery, and at times was playing at left-back, it has been some rise from the player.
He is one of the first names on the team sheet at the Emirates and a big reason why Mikel Arteta’s side are sitting at the top of the Premier League table.
And, if things go really, really well for the player, then he might just return to north London as a possible champion of the world.
