‘Incredible’, ‘gem’: Some Arsenal fans blown away by 20-year-old last night

Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kai Havertz for Bayer Leverkusen on Friday evening.

Havertz, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, was in action for Bayer in their Bundesliga game against FC Freiburg away from home.

The 20-year-old Germany international scored the only goal of the match to help his side to all three points from the encounter.

As reported by Goal.com, it was Havertz’s 35th goal in the Bundesliga since since his debut in 2016; he is the first player to score that many times before the age of 21.

According to WhoScored, against Freiburg on Friday evening, the youngster took one shot which ended in goal, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 84.9%, took 45 touches, and made two tackles.

So far this season, the Germany international has scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 26 Bundesliga matches for Bayer, according to WhoScored.

According to Goal.com, Arsenal are interested in signing the Bayer attacker in the summer transfer window.
