Rangers’ forgotten Scottish Premiership ace Jordan Rossiter made his first appearance for League Two outfit Bury on Saturday.

Jordan Rossiter might not have had a win to celebrate on his debut for Bury but he certainly made a positive first impression.
The talented midfielder joined the League Two side on loan for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day and came off the bench at the interval as Ryan Lowe’s side were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Crawley Town on Saturday.
And Rossiter showed real touches of class in his 45 minutes on the pitch, playing a major role in Nicky Maynard’s opener with a perfectly weighted pass.

Now, the 21-year-old’s parent club Rangers will be praying that he can put those injury problems behind him and continue his excellent start to life at Bury. So this represents a more than acceptable start.
Rossiter looked like a real coup of a signing when he arrived with big expectations from Liverpool in 2016 but a relentless series of injuries have hindered his progress at Ibrox ever since.
In Bury boss Lowe, however, the former Liverpool youth captain has a firm admirer.
“He’s going to be an exciting talent. He’s an exciting player that you would probably say is above our level, but he had the guts and determination to come and play for a League Two team,” Lowe said in quotes reported by the Daily Record.
“Ultimately, when you have a Scottish Premiership player, that has also played in the Premier League for Liverpool and has had good development and grounding, saying that he wanted to come and play for Bury Football Club, well I was astonished by it.”
