Andros Townsend has hailed the West Ham United goalkeeper following Saturday’s 2-2 London derby draw.

Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has hailed Joe Hart’s performance in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with West Ham United as “incredible”, according to the Croydon Advertiser.
Wilfried Zaha scored a last-gasp equaliser for bottom-of-the-table Palace at Selhurst Park, but only after the West Ham goalkeeper had made a string of excellent second-half saves.
Townsend was not shy of complimenting his England international teammate, describing him as a “top goalkeeper”.
West Ham’s Joe Hart is dejected after Wilfried Zaha scores a late equaliser for Crystal Palace
“It was incredible,” he is quoted by The Croydon Advertiser as saying.
“Joe Hart is a top goalkeeper and you would expect that from him.
“He made two unbelievable saves but thankfully we got there in the end.”

Hart has suffered quite a slide in the last three seasons, going from first choice at then-Premier League champions Manchester City to the Olympic Stadium, via a mixed spell at Torino.
However, the performance of the on-loan City stopper against Palace was more fitting of a player who would merit the position of being England’s number-one goalkeeper at this summer’s World Cup.
Hart will hope that next time his heroics are enough to earn West Ham all three points.
