David Moyes has been speaking to the media after West Ham beat Sevilla, and he made a claim involving Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Everton.
What’s the story?
Well, the £62,000-a-week man wants West Ham to be a bit more like the Eagles, Reds and the Toffees – in terms of atmosphere.
When asked how West Ham can improve their atmosphere, the Daily Star quote Moyes as saying: “Anything that encourages a better atmosphere is good. Crystal Palace for example get incredible support, incredible backing. You can name many other clubs. You can name Anfield and Goodison Park and Old Trafford. With a bit of work and creativity and thought you can help those things.”
In our view, the London Stadium was electric on Thursday evening, although the Scotsman clearly thinks there is more to come.
In truth, there probably is. West Ham have already worked to move the stands closer to the pitch, while they also hope to increase the attendance to 67,000 one day.
With more people inside the London Stadium, the decibel levels are sure to increase.
West Ham need more to match Crystal Palace, Liverpool & Everton

In our view, the east Londoners need to introduce safe standing rails if they’re to improve the atmosphere at the London Stadium.
For those who have been to a football match, it can be incredibly demoralising to be told to sit down, or be quiet, by a steward or those around you.
More needs to be done to encourage supporters, rather than discourage them from backing their beloved team.

With safe standing rails, it will become far easier to create an atmosphere than it would be while sitting down, as well as more socially acceptable.
Above all, the players have to encourage fans to shout, and if West Ham continue their upward trajectory under Moyes, the volume is certainly going to increase inside the London Stadium.
