Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams is reportedly wanted by a Premier League club.

According to a report from AS, a mystery English club asked about a move for Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Wlliams during the January transfer window.
Williams, 24, has been a promising talent for Athletic since emerging in the first team in 2014, and is enjoying a fine campaign this term.
Williams has hit nine goals in 24 games as well as picking up three assists, and is finally starting to realise some of the potential he has shown in years gone by.
It now seems that an English club wanted to sign Williams last month, but backed away when Athletic demanded his €84million (£74million) release clause, which rises to £77million this summer.
It’s unclear who wanted Williams, but Tottenham should certainly be interested again having wanted him in 2016 according to a report from The Telegraph.
Williams has blistering pace but also strength and fine technical ability, with his versatility to play out wide or up front being perfect for Mauricio Pochettino’s approach, much like Son Heung-min.

Of course, Spurs would never pay the release clause money for Williams, but they should at least explore other cash bids for Williams in the hope of tempting Athletic into a deal.
Other Premier League sides like Liverpool or Manchester City would also fit the bill for Williams, but Tottenham’s prior interest means they should be looking at him again – even if it would require some master negotiating from Daniel Levy.
