Gary Neville has said on his podcast that Arsenal central defender William Saliba will become an even better player in the next two to three years.
The former Manchester United star made the comments while analysing Arsenal’s win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League last Friday evening.
The London derby saw Saliba make his Premier League debut for Arsenal.
Gary Neville on Arsenal centre-back William Saliba
Neville said about Saliba on his podcast: “You just know that he will get stronger, he will get more wise, and you know that in three years he is going to be one hell of a centre-back.
“He is a hell of a centre-back now, but when you see him in another two, three, four years’ time…”

Bright future
In our view, William Saliba has a bright future at Arsenal and could develop into one of the best centre-backs in the world.
Saliba did well during his loan spells in Ligue 1 and is now a full France international.
And he is only 21.
The only way is up for the young Arsenal centre-back.
As we saw against Palace in the London derby last week, Saliba is calm and composed on the ball, makes the right tackles and the right challenges at the right time, and reads the game brilliantly.
Now, of course, there will be bad times and setbacks for Saliba, and the Arsenal defender will have to be prepared to cope with that.
But, as Neville notes, Saliba is only going to get better and develop further for Arsenal in the coming years.
