Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told the club’s official website that he will find out whether Bukayo Saka is fit to play against West Ham United at the weekend in the next two days.
Saka missed out on playing in Arsenal’s game against Olympiacos last night due an injury he picked up in the North London derby.
The youngster is not expected to be out for long, but he is not yet back in training.
And Arteta says that he will get an important update in the next 48 hours on Saka’s availability.
“Everybody was fine after the game, we will assess them this morning,” he said.
“Regarding [Bukayo Saka], in the next two days, we will know if he is available to play against West Ham and after that we will make the decision on what to do.”

Saka is absolutely vital for Arsenal, so Arteta is likely to be hoping he is fit for the weekend.
However, it is not yet clear whether he will be risked in the Premier League, even if he does make it back in time to play.
Arsenal’s season is likely to boil down to their Europa League progress, as they have very little chance of breaking back into the top four in the Premier League.
Although Arteta insists that he is still determined to see his side perform domestically, he is unlikely to be willing to take any chances with Saka in a game which won’t define his side’s season.
