West Ham United are likely to reach an agreement with Inter Milan over the sale of Gianluca Scamacca.
That is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano recently shared on Twitter that Inter will bid around €25m (£21.4m) to sign Gianluca Scamacca, with a deal expected to be agreed “in the next days”.
West Ham have already reportedly turned down one proposal from Inter for the striker, with talkSPORT claiming that the Italian giants had a £17m offer rejected.
Scamacca only joined David Moyes side last summer, but it looks like the 24-year-old could already be off after a difficult season where he only managed to score three Premier League goals.

The previous campaign was only Scamacca’s first in England. It is understandable that he had some struggles at the London Stadium.
The Italy international also had a few injury problems, so it was a tricky transition from Sassuolo to West Ham, who paid £30.5m for his signature.
When you consider all of that, you could argue that West Ham are perhaps getting rid of Scamacca too soon. Maybe the forward just needs a bit more time.
With all of that being said, Scamacca is probably more than open to a move back to Italy, otherwise Inter would not have made more than one bid for him.
His departure, which now looks likely, could leave West Ham needing to dip into the transfer market to sign a new No.9.
If not, then Moyes will have to rely on Michail Antonio and Danny Ings until at least January. Bringing in a prolific centre-forward would be great for the east London club, especially if Scamacca does depart, but their priority right now will be strengthening in midfield after Declan Rice’s move to Arsenal.
